Sophie Goineau is the founder and principal interior designer of her eponymous design firm in Los Angeles, Sophie Goineau Design. Goineau and her multidisciplinary team of designers specialize in evocative experiences, spaces, and objects for discerning residential clients, as well as luxury hotels, spas, and public spaces. The firm seeks to enhance the experience of living through elevated design, combining a passion for cutting-edge products, furniture, and fixture conception.

DESIGN APPROACH

Centered around the holistic approach of Bauhaus, our studio seeks to blur the boundaries between art and living to create harmonious, balanced environments. Each design element should be in constant conversation with the next, creating a sense of layered aesthetics blended together to complete the whole. 

 We aspire to provoke emotion by employing the echoes of the past in each space. Inspired by past cultures, traditions, and iconic motifs, we give meticulous attention to the origins, quality, craftsmanship, and materials sourcing.
