We are a female-owned holistic health practice re-formed in May 2019. Longfellow Holistic Health Center, LLC, evolved from Longfellow Health Center (run by Kenneth Hazirjian, D.C.). We are committed individuals who are dedicated physical therapists to provide exceptional physical therapy care to the Metrowest Boston community. We have developed a trusted reputation over nearly three decades.
Longfellow Holistic Health Center is a small but dynamic private practice providing physical therapy to the Metrowest Boston area for over 25 years. Physical therapy by our physical therapists is always one-on-one with the option of care in a private treatment room, swimming pool, outdoors and/or within Longfellow Health Club spaces. We utilize a variety of treatment techniques to suit the individual client needs to restore function, reduce pain, teach safe movement habits, resume safe performance of a sport or livelihood; manual physical therapy, therapeutic exercise, vestibular training, kinesiotaping, work conditioning, Graston technique, Epley maneuver, functional restoration, aquatic physical therapy, active release, and traditional therapeutic modalities.
Since LHHC exists within the Longfellow Health and Fitness Club in Wayland MA, we are able to benefit from the health club equipment and facility including a deep-water salt-based swimming pool for use in physical therapy treatments. We are also able to work in tandem with the Club’s personal training staff to assist our clients achieve their goals and help promote a healthy lifestyle.

Our mission is to deliver quality one-on-one care in the form of physical therapy, acupuncture, aquatic physical therapy, massage, craniosacral therapy or Reiki. Our role is a collaborative one. Focusing on meeting the needs of each client, we determine how to assist him or her acquire better well-being or relaxation, achieve a positive functional outcome, improve physical health and fitness and encourage safe movement and postural habits.

Physical Therapy FAQ’s
1. What does a Physical Therapist do?
Physical therapists evaluate, recommend a treatment plan and record a patient’s progress. Physical therapists help injured or ill people improve movement and manage pain. They are often an important part of preventive care, rehabilitation, and treatment for patients with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries.
2. How frequently do I need to go to Physical Therapy?
Generally, you will be seen for 2-3 visits per week depending on your diagnosis and the treatment plan that has been outlined by your Physical Therapist.
3. How long does a session of Physical Therapy last?
Patients can expect physical therapy sessions to last between 30 to 60 minutes depending upon their injury and their progression.
