I was diagnosed with the ACL Ganglion cyst in my left knee. I was having pain while bending my knees or with any physical activities such as running, extreme walking, playing football etc. I consulted Dr. Pankaj Walecha, he really helped me in understanding the problem that I had and what are the possible solutions with all the details in layman terms. On his suggestion, I underwent the knee surgery (done by him) and right now I'm going through rehabilitation and physiotherapy. My encounter with Dr. Pankaj Walecha was truly remarkable and exceptional. While I was in the US in 2022, I suffered a torn quad muscle in my right knee. Unfortunately, the US doctor administered a steroid injection into my knee, resulting in an infection that necessitated two surgeries to rectify. Despite these efforts, I still struggled to bend my knee, and the infection had caused significant damage. Upon returning to India, I sought the opinions of several doctors, but none left me feeling satisfied. Fortunately, I then had the privilege of meeting Dr. Pankaj Walecha, who provided thorough guidance and detailed explanations of the risks and benefits before my surgery. I am delighted to share that following the surgery, I can now walk comfortably and have achieved a bending capability of 90 degrees. Two years later, I am even able to drive a car.
